Seven underage kids killed in car crash - Grandfather dies later when he finds out

The fault is placed squarely in the lap of the truck driver, as far as the facts reported show now. He is the one who didn’t stop, and that is the reason those children died in a fire. There have been no reports of a poorly maintained truck, with no brakes to date.

In order to prevent this thread from feeding upon itself any more than it already has, I will ask that a Mod lock it.

I, for one, have learned much.

I will strive to make my next Pit thread more focused and will clearly state my intentions so that I won’t be misunderstood.

Agreed?

And you forget to read your OP…

What difference does that make?

Fault… What? Not the kids. Not the parents. Perhaps the truck driver?

In pre-post…

Lock it is certainly OK with me.

It. Doesn’t.

I was just curious.

'K?

I have asked that this thread be locked.

Thanks for the input. I’m only slightly scorched.

A strawman beating a dead horse. There’s something you don’t see every day.

You ought to have posted this in MPSIMS or IMHO anyway, if you were asking a question rather than ranting.

But I did see a straw horse beat a dead man once.

I thought of that (as I said earlier), but I figured it’d end up here anyways.

Did it look like this?

Damn! I didn’t know there were cameras there!

From the ETF Encyclopedic Library of Living Clichés!

(That would make a great MPSIMS thread… hmmm :evil smiley: )

Just a minor note: It is not responsible behavior to be driving without a proper driver license.

Why, does having a valid license automatically make one a better driver?

That would be what’s known as not even close to what I was talking about, Q.E.D. I pointed out, correctly, mind you, that it’s not responsible to drive illegally.

No, it’s just illegal. It’s only irresponsible to do it if you don’t know how. Which can be said for plenty of licensed drivers, as well.

Thread closed at request of OP.
