# Seven year old boy swims to Shore and saves his family

That’s one brave kid. I couldn’t have swimmed a mile against the current at that age. I earned my mile swim badge in Scouting Camp at 13. There was no current in the lake.

I’m very surprised that he planned his trip so well. He took rest breaks by floating on his back.
