is it right to have sex in mexico before my wedding(going for two weeks and getting married in middle)or if i have sex after will it legally be consumated? ---

Completely wrong. Premarital sex is a felony in Mexico. You shall be dragged through the streets of Cancun (wild guess, am I right?) by four horny stallions, after which you will be exhibited nekkid in the town square. [sub]Why do we even bother? Unless you or the future Mrs Yozzer have some religious or moral objection to pre-marital sex, why would it be wrong? Jeez…I thought you were planning on getting some ‘wild oats’ sown before the wedding (in which case it WOULD be wrong.)… ---

Marriage isn’t legally consummated until [ii]after\* the ceremony. And in my experience, you can bang away like there’s no tomorrow in Mexico as long as you act like a proper tourist… i.e., spend a lot of money. ---

And him not being a US citizen, I don’t see why the OP’er would care anyway. His girlfriend though would do well to see if Mexico has any laws prohibiting sex with morons. ---

handy is correct here. It **IS** illegal for a US citizen to travel abroad and have sex with a minor (under 18). The specific law is [18 U.S.C. 2423b](http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/18/2423.html). 15 years in prison for that one. ---
