Yes, I was told about my English errors after the fact. I will ask my ESL professor at the university at the next available chance to alleviate the problem. I understand that in my title that Sales is appropriate as a noun, but in the thesis it needs to be a verb. For a piece of ‘stream of consciousness’ writing, the OP is quite articulate. There’s lots of content, and the grammar is decent enough. However, that’s as much credit I will give it.\*\* 2.75 from the Aussie judge. \*\* The function of a rant in the pit is to have other posters exclaiming, “Yeah, I hear ya brother, doesn’t life just suck dead dingo dongers when THAT happens” (and you get lots of commiseration and sympathy) and people will stay tuned for your next post to see how things have turned out for you, or conversely they’ll say: “You (the OP) are a fuckwit/racist/homophobe of the highest order for even daring to write such a piece of vomitous glurge”, in which case you will probably have your butt kicked from arsehole to breakfast-time through the thread and you’ll get a Reputation [sup]TM[/sup] and people will flock to the boards when they see your name. Alas, **GnominClature** , your ‘rant’ does not fulfill either of these criteria. Bzzzzzzzt. Next contestant? 😃 ---

Rant all you want, but expect others to enthusiastically agree, disagree, or criticize your style, motives, grammar, gramper, etc. Actually, I think a lot of the cool kinds are pounding the kid who couldn’t focus on the very point he thought he was making. ---

What is the true ignorance? a) Raising your hand in class to ask “what, where, and why?” b) Not raising your hand in class to ask “what, where, and why?” I remember being in elementary school being beat up by the bullies who didn’t understand what I had to say because of my native Spanish tongue. I never wished them any ill will. I’m pleased that I had as much culture as I did in my youth. I hope those bullies made it to the graduate school level like I have. Actually **Gnomey** did you ever stop to think that maybe the bullies beat you up because you were so very full of yourself? I doubt if language was the enticement. I went to grad school too. I met a lot of people in my graduate studies who could pass the material but still lacked common sense. Some seemed unable to actually use and apply what they learned. I didn’t consider them or myself successful just because we could pass graduate level courses. You seem to place great self importance in your education level. I do not share your faith. In elementary school I wasn’t one to bully others, but had I known you, I might have been tempted to take a swipe. From your last post I can tell that you lack the ability to effectively argue your point. So you reach into your bag of “grad school” fables and ramble speech. We’re still unimpressed.
