Honestly people! It seems as if every other thread on the SDMB is sex-related. It’s excruciatingly frustrating it is to know about every else’s sex lives while not having one of your own.
Anyway, here’s my question: What’s the ratio of sex-related threads posted to non-sex-related?
When I say “sex” I mean the act(s) of sex, not “gender”.
I’m not asking for anyone to give an exact answer, just an educated estimate.

When I added that the numbers went to \*\*21805 out of 38698, or 56 %

Tuba, I’m not sure I understand this. My sig seems to be approximately as long as Bosda’s, including the blank lines. And you seem to indicate that Bosda’s is of acceptable length.
Actually, looking at some of my posts, I do notice that there’s sometimes a blank line after the last line in my sig. Other times, there isn’t. What causes this? I believe I’ve deleted all space bar entries, other characters, etc., after the last word on my sig.
Tuba, what determines an appropriate sig length? Number of characters? Number of lines, including blank lines? If I were to shrink the size of the font, using the “sub” code, would that help? I’m asking ONLY in an effort to conform, not to be confrontational.
I must point out, however, that, just by reading current threads today, (as opposed to spending hours searching), I saw AT LEAST three sig lines that were as long or longer than mine. And no, I’m not counting Satan’s, as his “sig” is actually part of his post. (I would just as soon not name these individuals, though, because I don’t want to be seen as someone who criticizes other people’s sigs, or posting style, or whatnot. I’m of the “MYOB” belief, though I certainly accept whatever rules the mods and admins choose to lay down.)
I don’t know how diligent Montfort was in ascertaining that I have the longest sig on the board, but may I respectfully submit that he be a bit more circumspect?
