# Sexual insults?

Thanks for the speedy response, **Gfactor**. I have no complaint about the _consistency_ with which the rule has been enforced on the list of banned expressions. But **Ace309** has a good point in that the word _fuck_ itself is not forbidden nor are some insults using the word. It’s the _rules_ that are inconsistent – not the mods. (And, FTR, I don’t make any assumptions about preferences of the moderators who enforce the rule.)

Rules based on ignorance at SDMB are just such so fucking hypocritical in light of our purpose.

To be fair, it’s **Melon** ’s point. I was just using an absurd expression for mild comic effect.
