The recent thread on the most beautiful actress, past or present, was interesting (although I was surprised that noone mentioned Lena Horne, the Charlie Angels-era Farah Fawcett, or the Dick Van Dyke-era Mary Tyler Moore), but it suggested another question. An actress can be quite beautiful without being especially sexy; conversely, an actress can be quite sexy without being exceptionally beautiful. What actresses, past or present, would you put in the latter category, sexy but not beautiful? I can start off the list with three of my nominees: Eartha Kitt, Ann Margaret, and Miss Piggy. ---

I have to say Jessi Klein, Kirsten Dunst, Ellen Barkin, and Angelina Jolie are all beautiful as well as sexy. My vote? Lisa Rinna from _Veronica Mars_, and I’ll second Juliette Lewis. ---

Bette Midler. She carries a little extra weight (not too much) and she’s not the most beautiful thing in the world. I don’t even really find her pretty. Something about her just rings my bell. Yea, I’d give her the old **NoClueBoy** lovin’. ---
