Hmm… a possiblity. It’s only an 8 hour drive for me, after all. Anyone wanna put me up for the night? Or put up with me for the night? ---

Well Zachary’s is about three blocks from Rockridge BART. And it is delicious. And they do serve beer. They do not take reservations, however, and they only seat complete parties which means we would need a pretty definite idea of who is coming and when exactly we should meet. They will let us place an order while we wait so we don’t have to wait a full 40 minutes after we sit down. And they are CASH ONLY so everyone should come prepared. I think its a pretty good idea. ---

Count me in, plus Mrs. Stuffy. Actually anywhere in Berkeley is great for us, one of my brothers lives along the way, and that’s where we’d drop the boys. ---

I will do my darndest to be there, and might even twist my husband’s arm into coming. (You will finally meet the elusive MrVixen!!) Normally I don’t bother, but he owes me for all the baseball and golf I put up with. Will someone post a link to directions/map for the “venue” as we’re calling it? lol (I like it!) ---

Aw. Lake Merrit is three blocks from my house, so I could’a gone. If it’s in Berkeley, the BF will likely tell me I have other things to do… (which I do - I have a tournament the next day in Sonoma…although I could cancel…) Anyone live in Oakland and wanna carpool? I don’t drive. Inky ---

Well I don’t actually dislike it per se, so much as think it is distinctly overhyped. Chicago-style pizza willl always be vastly inferior to New York-style. It’s just the nature of the beast. Also unlike **Miller** ( fine, upstanding gentleman though he otherwise is ) I’m actually partial to picnics in the great outdoors, though given my druthers I tend to prefer more out of the way spots like Point Pinole. I’m in. How will we know who each other are? Shall we all wear carnations in our buttonholes or perhaps funny hats? Or perhaps just shout “I’m a dope fiend!” when we walk in the door? Just kiddiing. Actually dopers gravitate toward each other when in close proximity. ---

As someone who also hates chunky tomatoes, I’m sure you are well practiced in picking them out of everything as I am. If not, I’d be willing to order a special “no tomatoes” pizza to split with you. (That’s like cheese and dough, right? SLOBBER!) WTF? Who is this polite and solicitous person and what have you done with VOGUEVIXEN?!?! This is one of the best venues picked in my opinion (even though I’ve never been there). For some reason someone always wants to showcase their neighborhood Ethiopian Raw Foods restaurant or something. I am even willing to overlook the fact that they do not have a full bar. (I’m assuming that’s the case, anyway.) What can I say? I love getting fat almost as much as getting drunk!
