# SF Story ID---Teen Werewolf

I recall reading a juvenile SF story when I was a kid about a couple of teenage boys who were friends on some space colony with two moons and one of them winds up being a werewolf. Anyone recall the title and author of this?  
The deal was, the kid had the genes to be a werewolf, but they had been diluted or something through the centuries and didn’t surface until he was on a planet with two moons.
