I can see why some people don’t approve but I have never been a people pleaser and never intend to be. I am a strict but loving father that is proud of both of my daughters. Would you say the same thing to a single mother? That is disgusting and inappropriate. My daughters are very different and require individual parenting strategies but I love them equally. I have also never threatened anyone on this board although I got warned for supposedly doing so when I didn’t. I was trying to refer to moderation but then I realized that it sounded bad so I deleted it but someone was waiting and forwarded it to the moderators. There was never any real threat to anyone. I freely admit that I will nail people that tick me off the first chance I get in real life but it has nothing to do with the SDMB. However, I play defense and not offense. They have to start it first. I don’t like conflict in general but I will finish it when pressed. I really just want everyone to get along. ---

We’re all reading not because of your “distinctive personality”, but because it’s not very often we can watch a slow train wreck in progress.
