Your link is a little screwed up – the text is correct but it has a bad hyperlink. The right link is: It’s no wonder the guy had to make his own. Googling the gahoon seems to uncover only the fact that there were comic book ads for it, not that anyone besides **Shagnasty** ever actually bought one. He has an authentic one, which is smaller (like his dick) and presumably sounds and looks even more ridiculous (like his dick). But I understand that women come running and swoon all over his gahoon (like they do over his dick). It’s hard for us guys to understand why women are thus obsessed, but that’s women for you. It’s why you need a book like the one Shagnasty has (only 98¢) to understand them. ---

As soon as you think you have it down, you have one on your face trying to claw your eyeballs out. I developed my own dating recipe through trial and error and it tends to work well (sometimes way too well) but you never can tell. The problem is that desirable ones come in clusters like now with some dry spells for quality in between so I don’t no what to do with them when they volunteer like that. There are new ones coming in daily but the quality varies greatly. Sometimes it is just better to hang out with the dog for a while. At least she listens. ---

Well that just blows it for Mr. Wrekker, he and I have been married 31 years in May. He doesn’t understand me, at all. Granted I am kinda weird. What he does do right is give me the space to be weird. I don’t have to explain or make excuses to be me. Neither does he, so I guess that is understanding in a broad sense. Shagnasty will never get that far in a relationship, he’s only concerned in what he can get. ---

You remind me of the way I behaved sometimes as a kid. I tried to explain why I used to over-embellish [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=19847048&postcount=78) and I believe that you are doing the same thing, especially when talking about your daughter’s gymnastics. See, for the many people on this board who have knowledge and experience with kids who are pretty serious about a sport, a lot of what you say about her sounds very unrealistic. For example, [a year ago](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=19542231&postcount=100) you said she was training 15 hours a week and being considered a serious Olympic contender. But in the same post you said that she was USAG level 3, which is basically an introduction to competitive gymnastics and which most gyms have kids working about 6 hours a week or so. If she was in J.O. at 10 (not Hopes, TOP, or an Elite training program) she has a ways to go. Then only [a year later](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=20598478&postcount=165), you now describe her as “world class” despite the fact that she can now be no more than USAG 4 or 5 and therefore nowhere near yet competing competitively at an international level as a jr elite (winning state is very impressive, but is a long way away still from “world class”). You say in that same post that she now trains 30 hours a week, which again, at USAG level 5 most gyms have girls working about 12-15 hours. A quick google of some gyms that represent well at MA events like 10.0, Shen’s, Broderick, etc are doing an average of 12 or so at level 5. The highest I know of is 20. Even level 10 aren’t doing 30 hours a week. If for some inconceivable reason your gym really is working her 30 hours a week, then it’s actually a little surprising that she is still on the extreme upper end of her level age-wise. I am in no way picking on your daughter (or even you). I absolutely 100% believe that you have a very talented daughter who is passionate about her sport and that you are intensely proud of her (as you should be!). And as I explain in the post of mine I linked to, I genuinely understand why you exaggerate – my own 11 year old daughter trains in her sport about 10-12 hours a week, which somehow doesn’t sound like enough to wholly express just how life-alteringly immersive it is so it can be tempting to overstate so people really get it – but again I really want to urge you to reconsider how you present her accomplishments. If you are too over-the-top now, it makes it seem like you don’t think what she actually does is good enough, and also makes it impossible for you to keep up with your praise of her as she does actually reach those levels of achievement. ---

I would think an Olympic level gymnast would not be a public school classroom at all. Wouldn’t they be tutored? 30 hrs a week would require someone to basically live with their trainer. It is ridiculous. He is lying. And what about the couch potato daughter? She must really hate her overachiever little sister. Again, he’s lying.
