Not a huge deal, I just think it’s shitty to use slurs that are commonly used against folks that already have it pretty tough. There are plenty of non-slur insults available. Not the end of the world, but neither is it the end of the world to say “hey, that’s shitty”. ---

I would never use “tard” towards a person that was genuinely developmentally delayed, someone with Down’s syndrome, etc. THAT sort of thing would be shitty and unnecessary. But I’ll use it towards someone able-minded who consistently says stupid things with a clear conscience. ---

I don’t think you’d feel that way about other slurs (i.e. you wouldn’t call a non-black person “nigger”, or a non-Hispanic person “beaner”, or a non-Asian person “chink” or “slanty”, would you?). I just think it’s better to avoid such slurs for all people, not just their “usual” targets. Nothing lost by choosing non-slur insults, IMO. ---

It’s because he constantly lectures the rest of the board on morality and how people should live their lives and interact with other people as well as plenty of other topics. And it’s comical because he has little to no experience with interacting with the world at large. He’s said on multiple occasions the board is his entire life and that he literally lives in his mom’s basement. I feel pity for him at times, but he’s so self righteous and convinced he has the answer to everything that it’s pretty annoying. Would a class of medical students listen to a series of lectures from me about the best way to succeed in medical school? No, because I don’t know fuck all about medicine and I’m not a doctor. BigT doesn’t have much of a life and knows fuck all about the world so he should probably quit telling people how it works. I honestly don’t know if I will ever hear from her again. She is a bit of a basket case but interesting and her family is a train wreck according to her. They were the ones that were supposed to drive up from Long Island and take her to the doctor but, instead, they cancelled that because of a family fight and their Jewish version of Christmas and her mother threatened to buy a separate house in North Carolina and live there (with no divorce because that would cut off funds). I actually like people like that but it probably isn’t good for me. I would go out with her again but she is going to have to contact me. I broke my promise and asked her if her ankle was improving and got back “Yes” and that was it. I have no idea what that means in women terms. We were just sitting together less than 16 hours before in a nice movie theater and I did everything I could to make sure she was OK. We didn’t even hold hands because she was in pain. I drove her home safely and that was it. That is why I say women are like cats. One too many belly rubs and they will try to bite your face off except, in this case, there has never been any belly rubs and I did everything possible to make things easier on her. It is like fishing, sometimes you will hook something you know not to reel in so you know you just have to cut the line but you are still curious what was on the end of it. The good news is that I have a date tomorrow with my gorgeous Australian that lives not that far away and already calls me “Darling”. I will have to see how crazy she is. For those of you that are older or inexperienced at online dating, it is a whole different world out there than it was even five years ago. Imagine Studio 54 the size of a metropolis and you will start to comprehend the magnitude but not completely. It is gigantic. It is like a male/female chess game. The object is not to not to lose or draw but to mate.
