Heard just this morning on an NPR piece on vaccine hesitancy in Arkansas: a woman’s voice saying “It’s not like we’re seeing people laying out on the sidewalk or on their lawns dying of COVID.” ---

HOW MANY DAMN STORIES DO I HAVE TO HEAR ABOUT SOMEONE THAT IS SUFFERING OR DIED FROM COVID AND THEY REGRET NOT GETTING THE VACCINE!!! They don’t seem to be making a difference. Just on CNN - a story of a 39 year old father of FIVE (youngest is 17 months old) just died from Covid. Last words were generally “Gee, I should have gotten the vaccine.” Ya think?!?!?!? ---

I’ve told my reasons already… ‘trackers in the vaccine blah blah’ that’s all you can some up with Covids here forever, when can we start to live again, when it’s under control is all we’re told… What does ‘when it’s under control’ mean? Why can’t we be given some kind of tangible number we need to work towards? People in charge love to pick numbers out of thin air when it’s lining somebody’s pockets, but they won’t do it for this… Surely under control is when its not (supposedly) a threat to the health systems? Which it isn’t and never was, until we made it so. Why all the nonsense now about mandatory vaccines and wearing shitty little paper masks which we were told were the saviour, but really do fuck all. When does it end? Covid won’t ever be eradicated, just like flu and cold. ---

These heartbreaking stories are appearing on “da MSM”, and not from a trusted news source, so the people most at risk from this latest surge are not seeing anything bad happening out there. ---
