I think that’s basically the language you have to get through to these types, but yes, you’re correct, I could and should use different vocabulary - my bad. My point is, they think of themselves as being ‘tough guys’ who don’t need masks or vaccines. I think it’s time to start calling them out for being the little sissies they are. _“OMG, my mask is so uncomfortable. I need a parasol.”_ _“Oh my, I’m so scared of needles. And I don’t know what they put in that vaccine. I might turn into an alien. Oooooh.”_ Wussies. ---

IMHO, if only those that "can’t’ take the vaccine (eg children under 12 and those with certain allergies or health conditions) didn’t get vaccinated, I don’t think Covid would be all that much to worry about. It’s the anti vaxxers like my idiotic youngest son, that are the problem. Oh, and my son’s two adult children? Both (and their SO’s) are fully vaccinated. ---

But but but……don’t you know that the ICU is full of people who are deathly ill from getting the vaccine and besides most of the people who “died” from Covid had mild cases but died from other things like cancer or car accidents but anybody who tested positive has to be listed as a Covid death even if they died from a gunshot wound to the head and a friend of my sister-in-law who is an ICU nurse said that she would never get the vaccine…. In good news, vaccination rates are actually increasing. It may be that some of the people who “never got around to it” are now getting vaccinated. ---

As Florida breaks the old record for new infections, anti-maskers shout racist insults at doctors, and offers of free vaccination at the county fair go completely unclaimed, I’m now officially fed up with the unvaccinated and I’m starting to adopt the “serves them right” each and every time an unvaccinated by choice person catches Covid. Were it not for these idiots, we could have a much better handle on Covid and minimize cases and save lives. But these selfish assholes will continue to allow the virus to spread, to kill more people, and continue to evolve into more and more dangerous variants. Fuck them. Fuck the spreaders of vaccine misinformation. Fuck the asshole politicians that actively fight against mitigation attempts like vaccine outreach, mandatory masks, and vaccine passports. ---
