# Sharapova!!!

Sharapova apparently had a bit of an intro. Seems Martina Navratilova was touring a tennis center where Sharapova played as a girl, and noted that she had talent. That was the incentive for her to go to Florida.

Martina says that she doesn’t remember this, but has said it about a number of talented kids. Maybe Bollettieri sometimes takes a flyer on kids who he thinks will pay off down the line?
