But of course he was the wrong fella, **bumba**. There are only three or four people working at my local Home Despot. The Wrong Fella, who never knows anything so just acts like you’re crazy to think there’s such a thing as, say, hammers. Then there’s Bubba LittleLady, who is convinced a woman could never know anything about anything, but especially not about hardware or lumber. There’s the Only Knowledgeable Guy but you’ll never catch him because he’s surrounded by an impenetrable cloud of desperate shoppers. And sometimes there’s Funny Flirt who is too busy drowning plants he’s nearly killed by drought while putting the moves on one of the patented Slowest Checking Girl in the World action figures Home Despot enjoys employing. Oh dear, it seems my panties are in a bunch. However did _that_ happen? Just one hour to go before Thanksgiving break, wahoo! ---

I’m getting ready to start my weekend. We’re going out to dinner at an Italian joint called “Mama Stortinis”. It’s received rave reviews, so we’ll see. I’m a little late to wish **vunderbob** good luck, but am so glad things went well for him. I spent part of my day at work looking over a database that that tracks patients consults and referrals to clinics and the network. It’s not exactly what I need, but I can see real potential and it would certainly cut down on the amount of “cleaning up” I need to do for the current database. The problem is that the guy who wrote up the program is in Arkansas and we’re not sure we’ll be able to ask him for help or even utilize it. We’ll see…hopefully all will work out. The hubby has a toothache; we’re going to have to get him to the dentist. Damn! More money I wasn’t planning on spending. But…he can’t be miserable; so we’ll get him taken care of too. Well, we need to head on out. ---
