[World Builder](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzFpg271sm8) Beautiful story, and I really, really, really want a modeling program like that. What can I say? I like Sci Fi. 😃 Anyway, what are your favorite short films? ---

[Begone Dull Care](http://www.nfb.ca/film/begone_dull_care_caprice_couleurs/), arguably the greatest film ever made that didn’t use a camera. It’s difficult thinking of these because most of them I’ve seen in short film or animated film festivals. Off hand - The Red Balloon The Mysterious Geographic Adventures Of Jasper Morello there’s one where a girl with a camera travels through the city and in post editing gives a thumbs up or thumbs down to the various people she films representing the thoughts we have throughout the day about whether we find random strangers doable or not I liked most of the films in a gay sci-fi short film night I attended, including one about a man stranded on a planet with a masturbating gay robot, and one in which the protagonist makes love to his clone there’s a lot of praise for the recent “Sita Sings the Blues” but I haven’t seen it yet, though I did download and enjoy the original score Bambi vs Godzilla I really enjoyed MTV’s Liquid Television, but don’t remember much specifically other than Aeon Flux two student films that you wouldn’t have heard of unless you attended SUNY Stony Brook: A Spooky Day (a silent film about a student vampire) and Lesbian Chicken Vampires from Outer Space (self evident) Most of the films from the The Animation Show festival and DVDs but especially: Billy’s Balloon Ward 13 Fallen Art ---

I don’t mean to hijack, but I have to. The Cat Came Back video (which I LOVE) I remember at the same time as a lot of short films from Canada I think. There was one that seemed like it was a conversation between two little sisters having one of those little kid conversations–which by the way are heelarious to listen to. At one point, one of them (as part of the convo) starts yelling "CockaDoodie!!! Then it was animated, with the things they are just yammering about happening. Imagine how hard “Cockadoodie” is to google? I don’t want you nice people to go look at those websites. \ the first few aren’t that bad, but it gets worse. It’s like “The Tape Store” skit on early SNL. I finally found someone else who’d seen it. Be the person that knows Cockadoodie–but not the gross one. Sorry for the hijack, but it IS a short film. heart! ---
