> One time this guy got so pissed off that I outbid him for someone (in a bidding game) that he created about four “clones” of me–complete with the same profile photo. He then posted on a lot of the message boards on FB claiming to be me. It was an interesting week.

There’s also the story of our other suspected clone, which was rather odd. I’m guessing it wasn’t the same person, though?

This.

In my case there were some girls who I’d felt were somewhat mean to me throughout my school career. Imagine my surprise to find them on Facebook and find them all to be happily well-adjusted lesbians. Upon reflection I realized that not only were they not out as lesbians in high school, but they weren’t happy or well-adjusted either, which likely explained why I perceived them to be mean to me. I had the same realization as **Sublight** above - we were all insecure and messed up, and we’ve all grown since then.

One member of this crowd was never actually mean to me, but when we became Facebook friends she sent me a message to apologize for being a bitch to me in high school because she’d always regretted it. I thanked her for the sentiment but told her that I had no recollection of her being a bitch to me (altho she had many opportunities to, given her bitchy friends). Warm fuzzies all around!
