# Share Your Zombie Survival Plans

Back in the 19th century, New York apparently feared there would be popular uprisings by socialists and anarchists. So the state embarked on a plan of building over a hundred National Guard armories throughout the state. These are big fortress-like buildings designed to hold out against mass riots if necessary. I’m not worried. The leading scientists at [Cracked.com](http://www.cracked.com/article_18683_7-scientific-reasons-zombie-outbreak-would-fail-quickly.html) have stated that it will fail quickly. Also, some of you should read [this](http://www.cracked.com/article/126_5-popular-zombie-survival-tactics-that-will-get-you-killed/) before making your plans.

I now live just under 4 miles from the beach so my plan needed revising. In the event of the undead, I shall grab the bugout bag, the gun, the dogs and the camping crap and head for the intercoastal (ETA 10 min from announcement). If **Nashiitashii** cannot be reached, adjust to pick her up from work which in 7 minutes in the opposite direction. Once at the marina we shall commandeer a vessel using the aforementioned gun if necessary. From there we stick close to the coast but in deep water and wait it out.
