# Sharpe's Challenge

I am a fan of the Sharpe series (both the books and the made-for-TV series), and I recently discovered that a new movie was made in the made-for-TV series – _Sharpe’s Challenge_.

I have discovered that the DVD is for sale in the UK, but only coded for UK/Europe. I can’t seem to find a copy available coded for North America.

Does anyone know how to determine whether such a DVD exists, or when it will be produced?

Try contacting [these guys](http://www.southessex.co.uk/) , they have funded the publishing of a couple of short stories recently and would probably have as much info as anyone. I believe some of them were even involved in the filming.

This is the one about him in India? It’s good. Do be aware that there are scenes not suitable for children.

Hey, this is _Sharpe_ we’re talking about. The hard-drinking, enemy-shooting, babe-bagging proto-Bond. Children _should_ watch; it’s good for 'em. 😃
