Okay, I normally have a buzz-cut, but my clippers are acting up, so since my hair was getting a bit “long,” (it was about 2 inches long) I shaved my head before I went to work this morning. I was surprised by the reactions that I got. There were, of course, the “Holy shit, man! What did you do?” comments, but I also got a lot of compliments on my shaved head. One woman went out of her way to tell me repeatedly that she really liked my shaved head and got flustered as she tried to tell me this (which is rare for her). Another coworker of mine told me that after he shaved his head he became a “pussy magnet.” Given that practically every woman I’ve ever dated has said that they envied my hair (when I had it, I’ve only started buzz cutting my hair in the past two years), I don’t get why they find bald heads appealing. So ladies, what’s the deal? ---

Well, I’m a guy that shaves my head and the first thing I noticed is it gives women a reason to come up and touch you. (as in rub your head) Which can be a good thing if your single.😉 ---

If it looks good on you, shaved head = Good Thing. I guess I shy away from the really straight-laced corporate look, so I prefer guys to have shaggy hair, or none at all. ---

It’s quite nice that becoming bald is no longer a bad thing. If I ever started going bald I’d ignore rogain, hair implants, combovers and hairpieces and just shave my head. You instantly go from humerous to sexy. ---

Pretty much what **fizgig** said. I like long hair on a guy or none at all. Of course, not everyone has the right shaped head to go bald but those that do are smokin’ hot. **Fiver** springs to mind. ---

**Terminus** , you’ve just got to bite the bullet and hope for the best. Have to admit that I expected the worst when I first tried it, as with hair my head looks rather square. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised to find that wasn’t the case, and that I really liked the result. Reactions will always be mixed. I love it, and can’t stop stroking my own head when it’s freshly shaved (I’m not narcissistic, honest). Yet my mother hates it and constantly tells me so; always reminding me of those poor leukaemia suffers who have lost their hair, and that shaving mine off is therefore a terrible waste :rolleyes:. Co-workers on the other hand were shocked at first, but quickly got used to it after the obligatory “can I touch it?” phase. And FWIW, I really go wild over other guys with shaved heads. The shinier the better :). ---

mmmmm…bald men. Seriously, I have a thing for guys who are bald or who shave their heads. Dunno why, but it’s droolable, IMHO. ---

His response? “Brave words, Mr. No-Male-Pattern\_Baldness Guy.” I think it also helps in the shaved=good thing if your ears don’t stick out too much; otherwise, you’ve got that Charlie Brown look going, and that’s not a good thing. ---
