# Shaving -- just downstrokes or both directions?

I started with for-and-against when I was young (from some book. catcher-in-the-rye ???), but stopped after some irritation on the advice of my dermatoligist. Now I shave with and across. I agree that it doesn’t shave as smooth.

Since nobody cares, I only shave once a week.
