Repetitive I can sometimes get, guilty. I need to get better at recognizing when a subject has devolved into a series of the same point-counterpoints and walk away sooner. Histrionic and over the top? Over 15K posts and I doubt you can find very many, if any, especially about elections. But _do_ feel free to provide a few examples. FWIW [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=9356956&postcount=18) is how I recall my tone during that time. And FWIW my assessment of Clinton is the same now as it was then, except that this time I support her as the best available choice … but there is, IMHO, little chance that she will be a _great_ President. And I will stop there before I become too hysterical again. And now for the quiz! What is the name of the logical fallacy you just tried to use? ---

Pointing out hypocrisy is not a fallacy. You’ve reformed your own act, yes, but you need to be more careful with the denunciations. I helped you then to understand what you were doing (the same as **Shayna** , although perhaps not quite as adolescently), and you’ve never forgiven me for it, have you? :rolleyes: Grow the fuck up a little more now, 'kay? Some participants in Elections, including the OP, are simply pigs who cannot be taught to sing, but you’ve shown more, and from you more should be expected. ---

Oddly (or not) I have absolutely no memory of the fabled 2007 Shayna/Elvis dispute. So… Elvis was for Hillary? Was Shayna for Obama? Personally, I’d be happy if any member of the Democratic slate were elected in 2016. ETA: DSeid was vitriolic? Sheesh, I can’t remember _anything_. ---
