You might be thinking of [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=379546), but if so, he doesn’t quite say what you remember. While the thread definitely shows that his aggressively stupid attitude goes back pretty much to the beginning, he doesn’t say that fondling his magic beads cured him of cocksmokery. Unless, of course, you had a different thread in mind, evidence for which I wait in great anticipation. ---

I pity you Martin. After reading many of your historic posts I thought I had you figured out.
