Watching the credits to get to the tag gives you the chance to find the name of that actor/actress who “I’ve seen him/her in something else but can’t place it” and google them. And I liked the episode 4 tag, it was funny and didn’t really fit in with the story so the tag was a great place for it. “Blue Curacao?” “What’s in it?” “I don’t know, it’s blue” ---

Donny Blaze’s friend was a weirdly distinctive character for the sidekick of a presumably one-episode mini-antagonist. ---

I agree – it did feel like Cornelius (the “sidekick”) was being set up to have a bigger, and more sinister, role.
