**Lobsang** , I know you’re heart-broken, but I’m thrilled. I’ve been following your story for a while. You’re a great guy. When I first started hanging out here, you were high on the list of Dopers I’d like to meet some day. I am glad not all the replies are negative. This one in particular. Thankyou Siege. My op it isn’t clear that she’s moving for employment reasons. She’s been offered better employment. (And I think she needs to escape a similar crush-that-can-never-happen that she has that I found out about recently) I am going to stop drinking once more. Can’t say how long it will last. I hope she does move, fer her sake and for mine. ---

Yeah, I’ve read the whole sordid tale, and how you’ve said the same thing every time. I simply want to offer encouragement, not practice armchair psychology. You or I aren’t qualified to tell him whether he actually needs to see a mental health professional about this based on internet postings. And if he in fact does need to do so, harping on him about it probably isn’t helping. ---
