I don’t find her face attractive but the chick I’m dating right now is 6’5" and I’m not sure I could handle dating a girl taller then me. Heck, it’s adjustment just being with a girl that nearly my height. ---

How come half the internet is over 6-foot-5? I’m a little over 6’4" and I’m out in public every day in a large city and I see someone taller than me maybe once a month. I’ve been the tallest person at every job I’ve ever had, and the tallest person in every class I’ve ever talen since adulthood. Yet on the internet, I’m a weetle shortypuff. Even the guy I worked with last year who was at least an inch shorter than me made a it a point to remind everybody who reads his Facebook profile that he is 6-foot-6. It just strikes me as a little weird, is all. ---

It just strikes me as a little weird, is all. It’s regional. I’m Dutch. 6 foot ~3. I can find someone noticeably taller than me in a minute or two when I walk in the city. Plenty of people over here approach 2m (~ 6 ft 6). Over that, it gets rare. In northern England, on the other hand, I’m easily a head larger than just about anyone (and people notice it too). ---

I’m 5’ 10.5" tall, and I’ve talked to guys precisely the same height who claimed with straight faces to be 6’ 2". Also, everybody lies on the internet, and your height is an easy thing to lie about. ---

I have a friend who is 5’11" and she likes to complain about the number of men who claim to be 6’ or taller in online dating profiles, and then when she meets them, they barely come up to her chin. Men lie about their height the way women lie about their weight, but men go up while women go down (wait, that doesn’t sound right…!) ---
