I was looking at my keyboard and I noticed that some keys have had the matt surface worn off them, and now they are shiny.

In order of shininess I have: Right end of the space bar; s; c; n; backspace; e; left shift; a; t; m; o; i; r; h; b; y; d; ctrl (left); \>; ,; w

All the rest are not shiny. And I seem to have something icky stuck under the k key, and what looks like a dried drip of hot chocolate on the 7.

Definitely pretty pointless.

I had the same thing happen on my laptop, only it was caused by some apple juice. That is why it is now in my closet and will remain there until I get bored one day and decide to take it apart.

I noticed the same thing on my spacebar… I took it as a sad reminder of how many times I must have pressed that thing to polish it to that degree…
