# Shipping a LARGE package from Australia to Japan?

I’ve been offered a terrific deal on a [velomobile](http://www.trisled.com.au/sorcerer.htm) (basically a fancy pedal car), but it’s in Australia. The thing is 2.7 meters long, 1 meter tall and 0.7 meter wide, and that’s without the crate. Can anyone recommend (or think of) a reasonably cheap way to ship it to Japan?

If it’s cheaper to fly there and bring it back, I would. But I don’t think airlines allow oversized luggage quite this big, do they?
