Turns out it was Cohen himself who answered the door at his apartment. I would pay good money for them to release a shot of the expression on his face when he opens the door and sees what looks like the entire FBI staring at him. ---

That way, the investigators get what they need without having access to privileged communication. The “dirty team”, I presume, is forbidden to reveal the contents of any privileged communication. Now, should they happen to stumble across evidence that the attorney committed other crimes, then I dunno. I guess they can refer that to someone? I dunno. ---

If they find something while validly executing a legitimate warrant (only looking where the warrant says they can look), they can hand that over, so long as it is not privileged, even if it was not what the warrant identified. ---
