Jim and I were joking about the “I’m on a horse” guy getting a movie soon - I think I’d like to put some money on that, if you don’t mind. ---

I just read the book, which is pretty good, and the idea of a television series could conceivably work, but not on a network, and that script looks like shit. If this was going to work, it would have to be on HBO (or at least on cable), and it would need a better lead. Alan Arkin or Dabney Coleman would be much better choices than Shatner )who I don’t dislike, but isn’t right for this). It also needs better writing. The real Justin’s dad would rip that pilot to shreds. ---

Is it literally going to be titled “Shit My Dad Says”? I mean, I know that Carlin’s Seven Words aren’t absolute any more, but it’s still pretty remarkable to have one of them actually in the title. ---

CBS has posted the schedule as “$#\*! My Dad Says”. Not sure how they’re going to pronounce that. “Stuff”, I guess? ---

So far I’ve seen it said as “[Bleep] My Dad Says” in the written print when discussing it, Don’t know it’ll be the censor noise or if it’s meant to be said as “Bleep”. ---

I’d heard that Isaiah Mustafa (the Old Spice Guy on a horse) was signed by NBC; IMDB [says](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2248149/news#ni3534964) that he’s going to be on _Chuck_, and in the movie _Horrible Bosses_ with a bunch of famous people.
