# Shock Treatment (spoilers)

Shock Treatment the sequel to theRocky Horror Picture Show is on Fox Movie Channel right now. I’ve heard about it but never seen it. Why is it so obscure compared to RHPS?

Because it is so awfully awfully wrong and terrible. Not funny, not interesting, just awful.

I’ve been watching it for an hour and have no idea what’s going on. Aren’t movies supposed to have a plot of some kind? I think I’d enjoy this film better if I was baked. At least the music’s good.

I really love Shock Treatment. It’s just surreal where RHPS is meant to be a send up of a genre with a bit of kink.

I think Shock Treatment would be a bit better regarded if it wasn’t meant to be a Rocky sequel. It would be in the same category as “Phantom of the Paradise”.
