It’s a continuation of [the theme of this post](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=9957981&postcount=3). Think of it as a sort of combination of riffing off the adulation of Obama that **Liberal** and others are dumping into GD on a near-daily basis, and the accusations of Obama-as-Muslim. Muhammed is adored as the central figure of Islam; Obama is the central figure of the cult of Obamania. Jokes don’t work too well if you have to explain them.
