Because I disbelieved one of the most hysterically dishonest Bush-haters on the SDMB when he claimed he was entirely controlled by fair-mindedness. He’s a hypocrite because he has blatantly, repeatedly lied thru his teeth about what he has said he thinks. He’s also a sissy because of the glaring discrepancy between the level of invective he habitually employs against others, and the tender-hearted sensitivity he expects in return. He can post shit about how he wants Reagan’s corpse to be dug up and sodomized, and then starts a whiney-assed Pitting because I refuse to take his claims of impartiality at face value. I am perfectly comfortable calling anyone who objects to equal marriage rights for mixed-race couples a racist; I am perfectly comfortable calling anyone who objects to equal marriage rights for same sex couples a homophobe. Nobody has denied that this is a common position: Dio was denying that it’s a common SDMB position to paint all Republicans as racists. Kerry supports civil unions. To me that’s virtually the same thing. Bush does not. I understand the political necessity of changing the words sometime. If Bush were to support civil unions, I would not call him a bigot. ---

The problem being that “honest”, in this context and coming from you, doesn’t mean anything more than “will not vote for Bush”. We’ve seen, in this thread and elsewhere, **DtC** engage in lying and bigotry. But he hates Bush with the requisite passion, and therefore you consider him honest. **Left Hand of Dorkness** is trying hard to resolve the inherent contradictions of saying “I am not accusing you of dishonesty, although you often are”, which is ridiculous. But, again, he hates Bush, is therefore A-OK in your book. As I said, same stupid (dishonest, hypocritical, contemptible, etc.) shit as always. Sorry for misspelling your name.
