Oh, so I guess I had you wrong. So your veiled beef was this all along: You think Shodan’s a religous _hypocrite,_ and you’re calling him out on it. He claims to be a Christian, but his thread title was jerkish, so you’re calling him out. You’re trying to start one of those theist vs. atheist fights again. Have fun. BTW, don’t confuse naivety with genuine confusion over your incomprehesible complaint. If you’ve got a fucking beef, quit wink-wink-nudge-nudging people into figuring it out. Stop looking for veiled references, and reading in subtexts, and making unsupported assumptions about what I know and don’t know (have you come up with any form of solid reasoning as to wtf makes you think I didn’t know **Shodan** ’s thread title was from Shakespeare yet?) and just read what I fucking write. So if I don’t know how the fuck Shodan arrives at the conclusion that I didn’t know his thread title was from Shakespeare, and it annoys me that he makes that assumption, would you suggest I just come right out and say something like “WTF makes you think I didn’t know where the quote was from?” Would that do the trick do you think? Or should I be plainer. Please do tell. ---

When someone makes a wildass assumption to arrive at a wrong conclusion that “for the record” I didn’t recognise something it’s (per the OP) barely worth bringing up, but (admittedly) a bit irritating. My problem (and best not to overstate the extent of my problem, lest **Happy** fret about me) is that if, as you accept, the quote has religious overtones _in addition to_ being a literary reference, and if I comment only on the religious aspect, there is no logical basis for leaping to the conclusion that that I did not know the latter. It makes no sense whatever. ---

But the quote in question didn’t so much have “religious” overtones as it had “mocking **Badchad** ” overtones. It had nothing to do with religion (and certainly nothing to do with YOU) and everything to do with \*\*Badchad’s \*\* obsessions. I’m sure that if \*\*Badchad \*\* had been, say, a rabid Yankees fan, \*\*Shodan \*\* would have referred to the 2004 World Series. But then, you don’t really care about all that shit, do you? All you want to do is fight. ---

To expand on that **Alessan** : precisely what did you think that I thought Shodan’s thread title was? Shodan is not in the habit of using the pronoun “thee” that I’m aware of. It was completely bleedin’ obvious it was a literary reference (although that wasn’t the point). **Polycarp** , you quote that next line at me and I’ll go apoplectic with rage.
