Frankly, of the two interpretations given for your over-reaction to **Shodan’s** thread title – (a) you didn’t recognize the quote and saw literal angels where none flew; or (b) that religion is superstition, “fundamentally childish and silly” and you somehow felt compelled to make that original and never-before-posted argument right then, I personally prefer (a). Because if it’s (a), you were only mistaken and humorless, but if it’s (b) you were being a tiresome bore whose best contribution to the thread about **badchad’s** banning boiled down to (1) “yeah, well, your beliefs are a bunch of crap anyhow!” and (2) “Plus, I don’t like your thread title.” So if the point of this thread is to clarify that you weren’t _mistaken_, you were simply tight-assed and tiresome, point made. Personally, I’m not sure that’s a clarification I’d be so intent on making that I’d open up another Pit thread to do it. In any event, the implication that you might not have recognized the quote is the piddliest of piddly shit and hardly worth getting your panties in a knot over. Go outside into the sunshine for awhile. ---

[/QUOTE] Then why didn’t you say something like that instead of saying “There’s no such thing as angels!” I think that’s what’s tripping the rest of us up. For the record, I’m assuming that the problem isn’t so much that you don’t like angels, it’s that you don’t like **Shodan**. Am I on the right track? ---

[Hijack] A really amazingly gorgeous song of the same title composed by John Tavener was used at [Lady Di’s funeral](http://www.internet-esq.com/diana/funeral.htm). I completely recommend giving it a listen.[/Hijack] (edit): by same title, I mean “May Flights of Angels Sing thee to thy Rest”, not “Shodan’s Angels”. 🙂 ---

I’m serious when I ask the following question, and I’d appreciate an answer to it: Has **Princhester** always been an obnoxious, arrogant cumstain and I just never paid enough attention to notice, or did he just pull a Pseudotriton? Also, I feel the need to point out that there are no fucking angels. **Princhester** should really know better than to mention them in a thread title, where people might think he was being serious. I point this out because **Princhester** really needs his little balloon of smugness popped. ---
