From here : (at least) 5 civilians taken to hosital with injuries, 4 injured officers, and police are, as of about 30 minutes ago that is, still rescuing persons inside the buidling/clinic.
Wishing a prolonged painful death upon shooter seems wrong, but what a friggin’ coward. I hope that its only ‘injuries’ and not deaths so far…crossing fingers for the good guys…

Very true. That’s why I put in the (at least) bit. Shooter just might’ve already done more, unfortunately. Ain’t over yet, afaik.

That was an almost entirely useless press conference they just had. I get that nobody really has much in the way of details to offer, but there were a lot of folks hustling for camera time just to say that they knew nothing.
If this does turn out to be a Christian person, determined to shut down this clinic:
I wonder if it would be OK for someone to demand, DEMAND, that ALL Christians immediately and unreservedly apologize for him, since his terrorist activities so clearly represent their Christian faith?
I, for one, would disagree with this proposition, since I would assume that this terrorist person did not represent the true meaning of Christianity, and it would be ABSURD to expect Christians to apologize for his acts (which they obviously would not agree with)
BBC just showed that press conference live too. I suppose they felt they had to say something to the public.
Good luck getting the media or officials to even publicly *admit *that it was in fact terrorism. Attacks like this get labeled a “shooting” or “incident”, not terrorism.
CNN’s live FBI guest just called this act: “any violence in the aim of furthering political goals is terrorism”… 2 dead…
The first thing that sprang into my head this afternoon when I heard on the radio that an active shooter had barricaded himself in a Planned Parenthood office was that this is just the latest Republican Party inspired act of domestic terrorism. I doubt that my first impression was wrong. I cannot wait to hear how Faux News will spin this, followed by the squirming of the full roster of bigots running for nomination.
I took a look at Free Republic. They’re already claiming it was a false flag so Obama can grab guns and that there’s never been a case of right-wing terrorism in this country.
And that’s just scratching the surface.
