# Shooting at Northern Arizona University

I’m worried this morning about the shooting at NAU last night. Four shot, one of whom is dead, and the shooter is in custody.

When I was teaching at a charter high school in Phoenix, I would take kids up to NAU on campus tours. For many of them, that trip in their junior year was the first time they had ever left Phoenix’s city limits. I have a bunch of kids up there, both from that school and from the suburban school I taught at my last year in Arizona, and I’m worried about all of them now.

My Facebook is blowing up with friends who still teach worried about their kids.

Ugh.
