DISCLAIMER  
this has probably been discussed ad nauseam before, but  
as a guest I can’t use the search facility

there used to be a lot of rumors regarding “insider trading” based on the prior knowledge of 9/11 events.  
Has anyone been charged/ found guilty…what’s the story ?  
Just an urban legend ??

According to [Snopes](http://www.snopes.com/rumors/putcall.asp) and the 9/11 Commission, just an urban legend.
