# Shots Fired - new Fox series

I can’t find a thread on this new series. I’ve seen the pilot and am not thrilled with it. Completely predictable cop procedural. Angry black folks; racist white folks; evil cop folks. Pretty boring stuff. And Helen Hunt looks mummified.

I dunno, I didn’t think it was that bad. I’m definitely easily entertained, but it’s kind of refreshing to see a racist black cop character and I think the juxtaposition of the stories of the two dead kids could be interesting. Helen Hunt only looks like herself when she smiles, but I like all of the leads so far. IIRC it’s kind of a mini-series, not a full new show. I’ll stick with it for a bit.

So why are you starting a thread on it then? Everyone agrees there are massive numbers of uninteresting series out there. We don’t want to hear about one more.

Instead start a thread on something you found interesting.
