# Should a Large General U.S. University Offer Study in Foreign Languages, Linguistics?

This. I recommend to your attention [the annual display of Port-a-Potties erected at Brown University](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E._Gordon_Gee) to commemorate Gee’s brief (1998-2000) and objectionable presidency of that institution.
