# Should Alan Grayson apologize for his "die quickly" remarks?

The non-apology counts as an incident? There’s no “pattern” here, whether or not we’re accounting for fractional incidents.

You count incidents your way, I’ll count them mine. I think guys like this don’t stop being obnoxious, and I’m sure we’ll hear more from him.

There is no pattern of “stupid remarks” referred to in the OP. What are you talking about?

Are you being obtuse? This thread started out with a debate about Grayson’s health care comments and whether they were stupid.
I’ll type this very slowly so I don’t have to do it again:
1. “Die quickly” was a stupid, offensive remark.
2. Reference to a health care holocaust, or however it was phrased, was in poor taste.
3. Calling an employee of the Federal Reserve (and a former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury under Clinton) a “K Street whore” was very offensive.
4. All of these comments were made in about a month’s time, more or less. I say that’s a pattern of saying stupid, offensive things.

I love the guy. Yes, he’s obnoxious. Yes, he’s blunt. However, I think the progressives definately needed an attack dog like him.
Exactly how much have you heard from the Repubs since he nailed them for their obstructionism by telling it like it is and saying every day you stall, 128 people die? Either shit or get off the pot. He just said it in a way that it made the news and (hopefully) woke a lot of people up to that statistic (leaving aside how accurate or not it may be).
I feel the same way about the WH v. Fox fight. Since they’ve been getting called out in a way that it makes it to the top news, how much have you heard about Tea Parties? Rush? Nada. They’ve been more careful of their step because everyone is looking.
