Speed, as is in the time to charge, or that they’re too fast?
Looking at the op’s requirements I would think both a battery or AC mower would work well. If there are no hills involved then a battery mower would be lighter and easier to use than the old gas mower. Get a big enough battery to last 45 minutes with a warranty. That will cover all bases.
