# Should Democratic Senators Filibuster the Estrada Nomination?

Maybe so. By your definition, Democrats have been playing the racist card against Republicans for decades. We saw it as recently in the Democratic response to the Ronnie White nomination, the James Byrd lynching, the Trent Lott mess, Bush’s affirmative action position, the Bob Jones University speech, and the Confederate Flag hoopla. In this case, the shoe is on the other foot.
