Just a personal opinion but I always find it strange to have food and culinary threads in Cafe Society. Would it not be preferable to have a forum just for cooking related threads and another for media related threads (tv/movies/books etc) Just an idea! šŸ™‚ ---

I think food should remain in the Cafe, as well. Cooking is a human art, and consuming it is usually part of that process. ---

I believe the Board Sachems like to encourage intermixing of different, yet compatible, topics, in order to foster serendipity of stumbling across threads that you were not looking for but end up enjoying. It also helps to avoid just becoming a database of information, of which there are already plenty. ---
