This is a good idea. In fact, there’s a lot of clean-up we could do on this board. There are way too many people clogging up General Questions with their damn _questions_ too. And all those never-ending arguments in Great Debates get in the way of the other threads. Then there are the whiners and complainers who’ve been filling up the BBQ Pit… ---

It makes sense to me that all the cutural-type topics are in the same forum. Food is part of culture. ---

I’ve long maintained that food should go in MPSIMS, because there’s literally nothing more mundane than food: mundane 2. of this earthly world rather than a heavenly or spiritual one. ---

As a mom of about a million whiny kids, my main creative outlet is cooking. Yes, it’s an obligation, but I think about cool recipes and such in about the same way I think about the next Better Call Saul episode. OTOH, I almost never see threads about fine visual art in CS. It would help if one could post inline images or thumbnails, but I gather that there is a longstanding tradition to not have that feature.
