# Should I be excited about Falling Skies? (New sci-fi series on TNT)

Title says it all.
Is anybody familiar with the writters on this show? Producers? Are they any good? Thoughts?

Fingers are crossed for something good but not so good that it gets immediately cancelled.

Every promo has the name Steven Spielberg on it. That’s all I know.
My guess is that it will have to be VERY heavy on CGI because of budget constraints, which is generally not a good thing.

The info on Wikipedia is pretty thin. It would be great if there was another really good SciFi series to watch, like _BSG_, but their track record isn’t very good.

Sounds like it’s doomed to me.
