Should I get XM or Sirius?

Excuse me?

I just got e-mail back from Sirius customer support saying the same thing. Darn. Forget everything I said about Sirius having a better selection of liberal talk. :frowning:

You wouldn’t have to hook a cassette adapter to the HU. Every satrad unit I’ve ever seen has a line out jack, so there’s no need to use a cassette adapter.

There are even adapters to allow a HU to control a satellite tuner box (XM Direct.)

There should have been more of a break there. I meant that IF you can connect a cassette adapter, you can ALSO use a bit of male-male to connect it from the line-out to the AUX in. And I’m not sure you can use a cassette adapter on a Delphi SkyFi car cradle, which is why I qualified it.

OK, rereading it now, it makes sense.

And yes, the SkyFi car cradle has a line out that takes a cassette adapter, because my adapter is hanging out of my tape player in my truck right now.

Incidentally, I’m getting bad distortion when I use the tape adapter, but I get static from the FM. Can’t figure out why it distorts so bad with the tape.
