I’m a stingy tightwad and _I_ paid for my subscription to this place. Granted, I got in on the $4.95 deal for those of us who have been here long enough to be grandfathered in, but I’d still spend the $15 if I had to. ---

Look at it this way: let’s say you have a job where there is free coffee in the emplyee’s lounge; sure, it’s cheap-ass generic coffee, but hey, it’s free! Does that mean that you wouldn’t pay $1.10 (okay, okay, I’m estimating here) a _month_ for unlimited amounts of the best damned coffee that money can buy?? That’s what you’re lookin’ at; sure you can get other message boards for free, but they’re not the best damnned message board on the internet. You got that right here.
