In fact, I know of one mb that has a thread for the male viewers. btw, Josh Ryan Evans is neither a child nor a doll. He’s a very talented 18 year old actor who has appeared on Ally McBeal and will be in the movie _The Grinch_ with Jim Carrey. ---

Why do soaps have this seeming need for their plots to have ramifications that _might affect the entire world_? Why do they have to compete with each other to be “cutting edge”? It seems to me you can create enough drama in the small town setting (didn’t most soaps start this way), with characters having real life foibles and situations (infidelity, crooked business dealings, greed, you know, the basic “good stuff”). Pay more attention to solid writing, and less to being far out, and I think you’d come out ahead. Just my opinion. ---
